Greetings! I’m Reba, a college English instructor living in Kansas. Last night, I read the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar and the book Why Does E=MC2? while soaking in bubbles to bluesy jazz. This morning I woke up late and ate an untoasted bagel with Nutella as I ran out the door for work. Colleen, my sister and best friend, lives thousands of miles away, but it’s rare for a day to go by without a chat. We feel that there are people like us in between those hundreds of miles who would be a delightful addition to our daily conversations about the pursuit of lifestyle and laziness. Hello, and welcome to Blunch! My name is Colleen, and I am the baby sister. Currently I am a library assistant at a small private college in South Carolina and living life with my best friend by my side. I didn't grow up loving writing and English, but when your older sister (and only sibling) loves it, you learn to love it as well. Because of that, there are books I wrote when I was little that I hope never see the light of day, but now I love having this blog to keep me and my sister connected even when we're hundreds of miles apart. When I'm not at work, you can find me reading, crafting, baking, or curled up watching a good TV show.
